“Arranged” Movie Screening at Levine JCC

March 8, 2010 at 7:00pm

The 6th Annual Charlotte Jewish Film Festival returns March 4-14 with the best in Jewish film from around the globe. Temple Israel will continue as a community partner, this year sponsoring the heartwarming interfaith film “Arranged” in collaboration with Mecklenburg Ministries. The screening will take place on March 8, 7:00pm, at the Levine JCC, and is FREE and open to the community.

An interfaith panel discussion facilitated by Lynne Sheffer, a member of Temple Israel. This film is an endearing story about Jewish and Muslim women who meet as teachers in New York and discover that they have much in common- including that they are both going through the process of arranged marriages. It depicts their journey toward friendship as they discover how similar their values really are. For more information about other films in the Festival, please visit www.charlottejewishfilm.com
