YOUNG COUPLES CLUB
Temple Israel’s Young Couples Club’s mission is to promote friendships among young Jewish couples in a social context and deepen connections to Temple Israel. Our events are the place for couples to meet new people ranging in age from their 20’s through mid 30’s. We are a thriving club and eager to welcome and involve new members. Children's Services
(Until Mid-May)Minyan Katan for preschoolers will take place once a month this year on the First Saturday of every month. Children 3 and 4 years old may join us for songs, Torah stories and Jewish fun at 10 - 11 am at Temple Israel. (Parents are not required to stay with their child, but may choose to do so.)
Mini Minyan for Kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd graders with Barbara Ezring will take place every Shabbat at 10 am. Please join us at Temple Israel for an age-appropriate Shabbat experience.
Junior Congregation for all 3rd - 6th graders is also beginning. Please meet at the new Education building at 10 am for classes. Pick up at Temple Israel at Noon.

The Bikkur Cholim Committee
We need your support! The Bikkur Cholim Committee visits Temple members who are recuperating and provides meals during this time. Our goal is to provide friendship, comfort, and when needed, a delicious meal. Temple Israel Minyan Committee

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society
HIAS NC is preparing to resettle a Soviet Jewish Family. We are in need of beds, bunk beds, cribs, car seats (infant, toddler, and preschooler sizes), strollers, dressers, televisions, and living room furniture. We also need volunteers to help with transportations as well as "America Friends" to these and other recently arrived refugee families. Room In The Inn
During the colder winter months, Temple Israel participates in feeding and sheltering the homeless once a month from December-March. We are always in need of volunteers: drivers, kitchen prep, and to stay overnight. Donations of books and personal grooming items are welcomed.
