Charlotte Jewish Film Festival
March 4-14, 2010
The 6th Annual Charlotte Jewish Film Festival returns
March 4-14 with the best in Jewish film from around the
globe. Temple Israel will continue as a community
partner, this year sponsoring the interfaith movie
"Arranged" in collaboration with Mecklenburg
Ministries. The screening will take place on March 8,
7:00pm, at the Levine JCC, and is FREE and open to the
public. An interfaith panel discussion will follow. This
film is an endearing story about Jewish and Muslim women
who meet as teachers in New York and discover that they
have much in common- including that they are both going
through the process of arranged marriages. It depicts
their journey toward friendship as they discover how
similar their values really are.
